Check what is actually included
Request a current list of live channels and on-demand titles. Confirm whether sports, films, language-specific channels, catch-up viewing, or an electronic programme guide are included in the plan you are considering. Ask the provider to explain its authorization to distribute the content. Do not rely on a channel count or headline feature without checking what it covers.
Compare the full price and terms
Look at the total price for the period, the renewal price, how renewal works, and how to cancel. If there is a trial or refund policy, ask for the exact eligibility and time limits in writing. A low starting price alone does not show the total cost or whether a plan fits your needs.
Verify devices and internet requirements
Give the provider your exact TV or streaming-device model and ask which official app is supported. Confirm simultaneous-stream limits, setup steps, and any internet requirements. A general guide for a device does not mean that every IPTV provider supports it.
Review support, privacy and availability
Check how to contact customer support and when it is available. Read the provider’s privacy, payment, cancellation and refund information, and confirm the service is available where you live in Canada. Keep a copy of the terms that apply to your plan.
Make a side-by-side checklist
Compare providers using the same questions: authorized content, channels you actually watch, total price, renewal and cancellation, device compatibility, support, and local availability. This is more useful than an unsupported “best IPTV” ranking because the right choice depends on your requirements.
