Android interfaces differ by manufacturer and release. Confirm your model and the provider-supported app before following device-specific steps.

Check model and software

On a TV, open Settings and find About or Device preferences. On a phone or tablet, open Settings and find About phone/tablet.
Record the model and Android version.
Ask the provider to confirm compatibility with that exact model and app.

Open Google Play on the device.
Search for the app name the authorized provider gave you.
Confirm the publisher and install from the official listing. Avoid APK download sites and do not disable Play Protect or other security features.

Open the app and follow the provider’s official sign-in instructions.
Use your own account details; do not share passwords or verification codes.
If a permission request seems unrelated to playback, deny it and ask the provider or app publisher what is required.

Does Android mean all Android boxes are supported?

No. Hardware, software, app-store access and provider support vary. Confirm the exact device model first.
