Check Roku compatibility first.

Roku uses its own channel platform. A service must confirm that it offers a Roku-compatible channel for your region and device.

Check compatibility

  1. Find your Roku model and software version in Settings → System → About.
  2. Ask the authorized provider whether it offers an official Roku channel for your exact model and region.
  3. If the provider cannot confirm an official channel, do not follow instructions to install unofficial software or modify the device.

Install an official channel

  1. Open the Roku Channel Store from the device menu.
  2. Search for the exact official channel named by the provider.
  3. Review the publisher and channel details before adding it.

Open the channel and sign in

  1. Launch the channel and follow the provider’s official account instructions.
  2. If an activation code appears, enter it only on the provider’s verified website.
  3. If the channel is missing or the code is rejected, contact the provider with your Roku model and the error message.
Can I install any Android app on Roku?

No. Roku uses its own channel platform; confirm the provider has an official compatible channel.
